Representatives

A.A.P.
(Advanced Academic Placement):
This parent serves as a liaison between the Program Coordinator and other parents of children in the program. Duties may include initiation of phone chains when needed to distribute information. 
Affirmative Action:

This committee promotes tolerance and understanding among all people in the school district, equal treatment and equal opportunity in education for our students as well as in hiring by the administration. The Central School representative attends meetings and reports back information.

Board of Education:

A representative from Central School attends the regular Glen Rock Board of Education meetings and reports back pertinent information.

G.R.E.E.N

(Glen Rock Ecology and Environment):

This individual coordinates Central’s G.R.E.E.N day at the recycling facility on Doremus Avenue.

Special Services Advisory Council:  

A support group for parents of children with disabilities and other special needs. This group helps families get the most from our schools for their children. 

TIC TOC Representative:

TIC TOC (To Introduce Culture To Our Children) is group that oversees numerous programs in the arts presented at the school. These programs include (but are not limited to) a theater and art program coordinated by volunteers in Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park and Ridgewood. PICTURE PERSON is a volunteer (parent) art docent who gives presentations to students in the classroom. These presentations may be about any art-related topic, from paintings and artists to crafts and special collections.
