Bagel Day: Chairperson/Contact: | This event provides a convenient snack for the kids on early dismissal days. The coordinator contacts a bagel shop, sends out flyers, and purchases and delivers the bagels to the children's classrooms with the assistance of a team. |
Book Fair: Chairperson/Contact: | This committee is responsible for organizing the Book Fair, the selection of the vendor, the selection of books, setting up displays, signing up volunteers, etc. The Book Fair is held on two consecutive days and one evening. |
Box Tops for Education: Chairperson/Contact: | This individual collects and submits the Box Tops for Education coupons sent in by parents. |
Class Pictures: Chairperson/Contact: | Every fall a professional photographer comes to the school to take pictures of all the students. This committee arranges for the photographer, coordinates with teachers for the class scheduling, distributes and collects order forms and assists on the day of the pictures. |
Family Portrait Day: Chairperson/Contact: | In the winter or early spring, a professional photographer comes to take family pictures. This committee arranges for the photographer, coordinates scheduling with families, distributes and collects order forms and assists on the day of the pictures. This events takes place in combination with Byrd School. |
Gift Wrap: Chairperson/Contact: | The children come home with brochures and order forms for a selection of holiday and all-occasion gift wraps, cards, and gifts in September. The committee arranges the sale with the selected company, hands out and collects order forms, and distributes the gift wrap to the students when it arrives. |
Ice Cream Day: Chairperson/Contact: | This committee organizes the purchase and distribution of ice cream to the students during lunch once or twice per month. It's still not too late to participate! Contact Tiffany McCulloch .

Membership: Chairperson/Contact: | This involves coordinating the collection of our H.S.A. dues from each family at the beginning of the school year. These dues pay (in part) for the Handbook (see Communications). |
Movie Day: Chairperson/Contact: | This fundraising event is held on early dismissal days. It involves contacting and reserving the movie theater, distributing a flyer to notify families, collecting money and checking families in at the theater. |
