Fliers “going green”

As part of the Glen Rock School District’s efforts to “go green,” it is adopting a new process for the distribution of third-party fliers. The ultimate goal is to discontinue paper copies and replace them with postings on a district Web site where interested families can download and print a copy as needed. The 2008-09 school year will be a transition year. The district will continue to allow distribution of approved paper fliers via backpack and will also post the flier on the “Noteworthy Links” section of the district’s Web site, www.glenrocknj.org. Beginning next year, all third-party fliers will only be distributed electronically. Approval of fliers will continue to be handled through the office of the superintendent.
