On June 2nd, we had a wonderful assembly/workshop program called "Dancin' with the Honeybees."  Cliff Sunflower, Master Bee Keeper and environmental educator, used story telling, poetry, music and dance to illustrate the delicate and complex balance of a bee colony and the world around it.  After the assembly students had a chance to explore the "Bee Touch Me Museum,"  taste honey made from different flowers and make their own bees wax candles.

 

Thanks to Mr. Sunflower and all our HSA volunteers it was a very special day.
