It’s election time again and we want your participation in the process!


March 25th is the last day to register to vote and if you won’t be able to make it to the polls, you only have a few more days to apply for an absentee ballot. Read on for more information!

What are we voting on?

April 15th is our annual school election. There are two main components to this election:

1. 2008/2009 Annual School Budget– If you are interested in knowing more about the school budget, you may attend the Public Hearing tonight, March 24th at 7:00 pm in the High School Media Center.

2. School Board Vacancies– To help voters learn more about the candidates running for the Board of Education, the League of Women Voters is hosting Candidates’ Night, April 1st at the Central School auditorium at 7:30 pm.



When will the polls be open?

Polling hours are 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm.



What if I can’t make it to the polls?

You must apply for an Absentee Ballot. To do so, the County Clerk must have received your application by April 8th. Download the application and mail the completed form to: Bergen County Clerk, Kathleen Donovan, One Bergen County Plaza, Room 130, Hackensack, NJ 07601.

Is it too late to register to vote?

It’s not too late if you act quickly! Tomorrow, March 25th is the last day to register to vote in time for this election. Download the application and bring it to Glen Rock’s Registrar of Elections at the Borough Hall, Jacqueline Scalia (201.670.3956) ASAP!
