National School Violence Week
Next week is National School Violence Week. We have a number of activities planned throughout the building as well as individual classrooms. Ms. Dan Pavese, our school counselor, will be presenting two assemblies on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, meeting with K-2 students at 1:00 p.m. and grades 3-5 at 2:00 p.m. The Glen Rock Police Department will be presenting two programs on Thursday October 30, meeting with K-2 at 9:45 a.m. and grades 3-5 at 10:45 a.m.
Other events that week:
· Wednesday, October 29, 2008, we’ll have “Sock It to Violence Day”. Students may wear crazy socks to school.
· Thursday, October 30, is “Team Up Against Violence Day”. Students may wear a team jersey.
· Friday, it’s ‘Say Boo to Violence Day” which we’ll celebrate with our Halloween Parade.*
* Please be reminded that our Halloween Parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. Students should bring their costumes to school (P.M. K students may wear their costumes to school).
