ALL STAR READATHON
The Children's All*Star Readathon kicks off with Read Across America Day on Monday, March 2, 2009. Each elementary student will receive an entry form with details on sponsor sign-ups, reading goals and deadlines. During March, children read and keep track of their books. Each child is responsible for delivering pledges and book lists to the Children's Room at the Glen Rock Public Library by April 15th.
The funds raised from the Readathon are used by the Friends to underwrite programs and enhance collections and electronic resources in the Children's Room.
